Series to mobilize public to support rehabilitation of the earthquake(08/10) survivors

Uks radio project team in contributing their media assistance for the October 8th 2005 Earthquake by a series of 15 persuasive and powerful radio programmes produced on-location in the disaster-hit areas to mobilize the public for their continued support for the rehabilitation and rebuilding (physical infrastructure as well as spirits) of recent earthquake survivors. The programme was launched in March 2006 in collaboration with The Asia Foundation.

It included 10 programmes of 15-minute duration and the production team had various in-house editorial meetings and the team comprised:

Producers traveled to the disaster-hit areas in North West Frontier Province (NWFP) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) including the Line of Control, Chakoti. They covered Mansehra, Abbotabad, Rankot, Dalola, Sobrian, Garlat, Mera, Danna Shoal, Dara Shoal, Balakot, Bisham, Allai, Garhi Habib Ullah, Garhi dupatta, Bagh, Muzafarabad, Lodhiabad, and Hattian Bala (North Pakisatn)etc.
